The Athlete Factory believes that with the right support and knowledge, you can truly get the results you want. That’s why we created the AF training app, which provides you with exclusive access to programming, knowledge, and one-on-one support from our elite coaches. And, together, we monitor everything you do in our facility to ensure you’re getting the very best results.

Every member at our facility will have a programme built on our AF training app which is aligned to your individual needs, abilities, and goals.

Your programme is delivered via our interactive smart phone app, which explains all exercises and techniques through easy-to-understand videos and descriptions. Our app tracks your progress and links perfectly to other devices like FitBit and My Fitness Pal, so you get the monitoring and tools to guarantee a fitter, stronger and leaner you. With this monitoring, you become accountable and we can support you 24/7 through the live messaging on the app.

The app is a crucial tool for us to give the care, knowledge and support to every member.

STEP 1 Your consultation – We will ask you a series of initial questions including:

  • a description of your fitness goals;
  • to rate your previous experience with exercise
  • what your existing dietary habits are like; 

You will be assigned your own dedicated AF Performance Coach who will utilise training methods currently being used in elite sport to maximise your development. Every exercise, routine and plan is accompanied by a comprehensive video clip demonstrating each movement, body positioning, and important coaching cues for you to optimise your training and get the most out of each session.

You’ll also be invited to upload to your account your first set of body images, which you can take yourself and which will only ever be seen by you and your dedicated Coach. These images and a series of straightforward starting measurements will help you both to track your progress week-by-week. You can also link devices such as Fitbit and My Fitness Pal to your AF Training app. Giving you all the data you need to get results.


From the start of your programme you can record your weight selection, reps and sets count and review your session for your AF Performance Coach. The instant messaging feature provides unlimited access to your personal AF Performance Coach for questions surrounding your online training, nutrition and lifestyle.

Your AF Performance Coach will review your session data and your feedback, making any necessary adjustments and providing ongoing support and motivation.


This is a programme written specifically for you. So every four to six weeks, your AF Performance Coach will make minor progressive adjustments to your prescribed programme based on how you’re doing and how you’re feeling.

A key element to optimising training adaption is the concept of ‘progressive overload’. When your body becomes accustomed to the training load you are exposing it to; i.e. the same training sessions or the same level of resistance or training volume, your body stops adapting, stops getting better and your performance is no longer being enhanced. To prevent that, your AF Performance Coach, will utilise proven, evidence-based sports science methodologies and adapt your training programme to best support your continued athletic development.

In the tenth week of every set of twelve, your AF Performance Coach will compare your results throughout the current phase in your programme and introduce bigger changes to your programme design to prepare you for the next 12-week cycle and for your next change in results.
